Kizzie, i waited so long for you. My childhood was full of pets, hamsters, rabbits, guinea pigs,
but the one thing i dreamed of for so long.....was a visit to a breeder on my 18th Birthday and the
minute i saw you and how cute you were, i knew you were the one i was going to take home with me.
You were such a character, such a good boy, loved by everyone, and people stopping to pet you while
going out for walks. Im laughing now as i write this as i remember how you never liked me leaving
you tied up outside shops and you'd howl like a baby for me to come back...such lovely memories i
have of you and always hold dear to my heart.
When you were 8, you developed a cough... you were diagnosed with a heart murmur and had 2 different
types of medication to take everyday, but you were so good and never made a fuss when taking
tablets.
One morning in September 2005, i woke to find you really weren't yourself...your cough had worsened,
you just lay there, not moving for anything.
I took you to the vets, you normally hated it and barked at the other animals, but you lay so
quietly on my lap, waiting to go in. The vet examined you and confirmed what id been
dreading...that you were suffering heart failure,...i looked into your eyes and knew from your
expression that you were thinking...."mummy, please let me go"...I took that awful decision, and
stayed with you throughout....but the sense of relief i felt after, knowing your suffering had ended
was of comfort to me.
It's such a hard thing to get over when you loose a pet,they become part of the family and im only
just starting to feel ready to have another dog...but i will never forget you, my gorgeous
Kizzie....hope your having fun, chasing around in Rainbow Bridge.

i hope ya avin fun in doggy my mum lost her king charles tri colour bryn at 8yrs old to the same condtion he died in march this yr and hes buried him mums garden we are all still devastated n will never forget him just like u will neva b 4goten xxxx

To my dearest family,
some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know,
that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from the Bridge.
Here I dwell with God above.
Here there's no more tears of sadness.
Here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy
just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you
every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me
and He said, "I welcome you.
It's good to have you back again,

As for your dearest family,

God gave me a list of things,
that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list,
was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night
the day's chores put to flight,
God and I are closest to you...
in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth,
and all those loving years,
because you are only human,
they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry:
it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers,
unless there were some rain.
I wish that I could tell you
all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you,
you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain,
though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now,
than I ever was before.
There are rocky roads ahead of you
and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it
by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy
and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world,
the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody
who's in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night...

And now I am contented...
that my life was worthwhile.
